It is with a great deal of personal sorrow that I announce to our visitors the passing of Janaloo Hill, owner/historian of Shakespeare, on Thursday, May 26, 2005. She leaves behind her husband Manny Hough, friends, her horse, pets, writings, ghosts and legends of Shakespeare.

Janaloo had a very long battle fighting cancer. She is now at rest and pain free and has joined the settlers of Shakespeare, and her mother and father, pioneer legends Frank and Rita Hill.
Per Janaloo's wish she was cremated and buried on the hill overlooking her beloved town of Shakespeare to lie for eternity with her mother and father.
